  Thanks for your posting on this blog. From my experience, many times softening upward a photograph may possibly provide the digital photographer with a bit of an artistic flare. Many times however, that soft clouds isn't exactly what you had at heart and can in many cases spoil a normally good photo, especially if you intend on enlarging this.
